Is my data backed up automatically?
Your data is stored locally on your device. Cloud backup is an optional premium feature — enable it under Settings → Backup. Without backup enabled, uninstalling the app will delete your data.
How do I restore my data on a new device?
Sign in with the same Apple or Google account you used to enable backup, then go to Settings → Backup → Restore. Your data will be downloaded from your private cloud backup.
How accurate are the AI repair suggestions?
AI suggestions are most accurate when your vehicle's VIN is on file — this lets the AI identify your exact trim and engine variant. Without a VIN, suggestions are based on make/model/year and may not match your specific configuration. Always verify part numbers before ordering.
How do I cancel my premium subscription?
iOS: Open Settings on your iPhone → Apple ID → Subscriptions → AuraDrive AI → Cancel.
Android: Go to Settings → Subscription in the app, then tap Manage Subscription to access the billing portal.

I've used my free AI suggestions. Can I get more?
The free tier includes 3 lifetime AI suggestions. Upgrade to premium for unlimited suggestions. You can always fill in a planned repair manually without using an AI suggestion — it's a tool, not a gate.

Where is my VIN?
Your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is a 17-character code found on: the driver's door jamb sticker (most reliable), the base of the windshield on the driver's side, or your registration and insurance documents. You can scan the door jamb barcode directly in the app using the camera icon next to the VIN field.
